Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0732541A2] The burner consists of two concentric combustion chambers (1,2) and a mixer/diffuser. The outer of the two chambers has a projection in one part of its base which forms a small well (7) connecting with a gas and air inlet in the shape of a Venturi tube (8) which meets the well in a horizontal direction. The inner (1) of the two chambers is also fed with gas and air through a Venturi tube (5), and has a mixer/distributor in the form of a small metal disc. The outer annular chamber's mixer/distributor is designed to mix and distribute the gas evenly over the whole of the annular chamber; its element can be perforated with holes of any size and distribution.
