The speed of a hand held electrical tool is regulated by a switch unit that is built into the hand grip. The switch module has a housing of plastic Ä2Ü and a push button actuator connects with a pin Ä4Ü and this operates to turn the motor on and can be adjusted to vary the speed. The speed control is provided by an electronic control module Ä26Ü that is connected to a power semiconductor Ä28Ü regulating the current supplied to the motor. The power semiconductor is in contact with a carrier Ä31Ü and this connects via an aperture Ä33Ü in the housing with a heat sink plate Ä34Ü mounted on the side of the housing. The plate is located on mounting studs Ä35Ü.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen elektrischer Schalter (1), insbesondere zur Verwendung für ein Elektrohandwerkzeug mit einem Elektromotor, wie ein Akku-Elektrowerkzeug mit einem Gleichstrommotor. Der Schalter (1) besitzt ein Gehäuse (2) zur Aufnahme eines Kontaktsystems, ein bewegbares Betätigungsorgan, das auf wenigstens einen Schaltkontakt des Kontaktsystems einwirkt, und eine im Gehäuse (2) befindliche Steuerelektronik (26) sowie einen zugehörigen Leistungshalbleiter (28) zur Drehzahlveränderung des Elektromotors. Der Leistungshalbleiter (28) steht über ein stromführendes und wärmeleitendes Trägerteil (31) mit dem im Gehäuse (2) befindlichen Kontaktsystem in Verbindung und weiter mit einem an der Außenseite des Gehäuses (2) befindlichen Kühlkörper (34) in wärmeleitender Verbindung. Das Trägerteil (31) reicht durch einen Wanddurchbruch (33) des Gehäuses (2) wenigstens bis zum Kühlkörper (34). Der Kühlkörper (34) ist zur Vereinfachung der Montage kraft- und/oder formschlüssig direkt am Trägerteil (31) ohne zusätzliche Befestigungsmittel gehalten. <IMAGE>
