[origin: EP0733736A2] In an appts. for adjusting one of the bearing pedestals for one of a group of rollers supporting and transporting an endless belt, e.g. a wire or feed belt etc. in a paper mfg. plant, the pedestal is placed on a member which can be shifted by means of an adjusting device along the direction of the belt travel so that, w.r.t. the belt lengthwise direction, the angle of the roller being supported by the pedestal may be altered. The moveable member is formed as a carriage (3) with rollers (32) which can be made to travel w.r.t. the support frame (1) by means of the adjusting device.
