The rectangular blocks are placed one on the other to form a building wall having a rectangular opening (P) whose vertical faces receive a peripheral coating of a given thickness (e). There are three types of block of the same thickness and height (H) but of different lengths. Standard blocks (1) have a length L, "board" blocks (3) have a length L-e, "fraction" blocks (4) have a length tL-e, t being a constant between 0.33 and 0.66, and other blocks have a length (1-t)L-e. The fraction blocks are a fraction of the board blocks and all have the same length (L/2-e). All the blocks have ends with complementary fitting sections enabling their dry linking. The board and board fraction blocks having fitting sections only on one of their two end faces, the other face being plane. A pair of board fraction blocks are made into a single piece by moulding a block, a "Siamese", into which the two block fractions are connected by one or more breakable fastenings.

Cet ensemble de blocs, qui ont une forme générale parallélépipèdique rectangle, est destiné à permettre la construction de la paroi d'un bâtiment présentant au moins une ouverture rectangulaire (P, F) - ou baie - dont les faces verticales dites "tableaux" doivent recevoir un revêtement périphérique d'épaisseur (e) ; cet ensemble comprend au moins trois types de blocs de longueurs différentes, à savoir: des blocs standard (1) de longueur donnée L ; des blocs "tableau" (3) de longueur L - e ; des blocs (4) - dits fractions de blocs "tableau", dont certains ont une longueur t L - e et d'autres une longueur (1 - t) L - e, t étant un nombre décimal compris entre 0,33 et 0,66. L'utilisation de ces blocs évite de recourir à des coupes. Construction de bâtiment. <IMAGE>
