[origin: WO9611777A1] The safety razor is of the type comprising an elongate handle (3) and an elongate blade (1) held in a blade holder (2) which extends in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the handle (3). In order to extend the useful life of the razor, the blade and the handle are so disposed that their general axes lie at an angle between 1 DEG and 30 DEG from the perpendicular direction.
