Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0734679A1] The blower unit is housed in a compartment (2) sepd. from the dust compartment (4) containing a conventional filter bag. The partition (5) between the compartments incorporates an opening through which air is drawn from the dust compartment through an exhaust air filter (7) in a holder (6). The filter is provided with moisture-absorbent special fibres to protect the electrical and electronic components in the blower compartment. It can be removed and dried out while the appliance is not in use.
