[origin: EP0734815A1] The tool has a grab sleeve (1) with fingers (2) and grab elements (3), and a clamping sleeve (6) with a control surface (7) acting on the fingers. The sleeve has a second control surface (9), to press the grab fingers inwards during a relative movement between the sleeves, and to act against a section of the fingers, which is at a distance to the free end. The distance is chosen, so that the elastic material of the fingers between the second control surface and the grab elements, permits a flexible outward movement of the elements. The control surface has a conical shape, and, due to the relative axial movement of the clamping sleeve to the grab sleeve, the grab elements are movable.
