[origin: EP0734946A1] The equipment has a deflated and folded pneumatic life raft (2) and an inflation gas tank (3) which are enclosed in a rigid container (4). The container has a hatch (9) and the tank has a sensor (10) for detecting the temperature and pressure of the gas in the tank. The sensor is arranged so that the detected quantity can be measured through the open hatch. The sensor is connected by a flexible tube (11) to a valve (12) accessible through the open hatch. The deflated and folded raft and the gas tank are enclosed in a flexible sealed sac (13). The sac is sealed around a tank closing nut (6), which is partially outside the sac, and the tube is connected to the nut.
