Abstract (en)
The blocks (5,6) are stacked and have, around their side surfaces, vertical seatings (15) to aid vertical alignment. The blocks are attached to each other and to the crane tower by fixings. The seatings, when the blocks are aligned vertically, receive ballast rods (17) which extend vertically. Each rod has, at its ends, centring and fixing couplings. The fixings are mounted fixedly at one end to the rod and at the other movably and lockably to the upper faces of the ballast blocks. At least the lower face of the block situated at the base has complementary formations to receive the fixing couplings.

Ces blocs de lest (5,6) empilables, et leur dispositif de fixation, sont notamment utilisables pour le lestage et l'équilibrage des grues à tour à montage automatisé, avec châssis tournant (1). Les blocs de lest (5,6) comportent extérieurement, sur leur surface latérale, des encoches verticales (15) alignées lorsque ces blocs sont empilés. Des tiges de lest (17) verticales sont engagées latéralement dans les encoches (15), chaque tige (17) étant pourvue à ses extrémités de moyens de centrage et de bridage déportés (19,20,23,25), coopérant avec des moyens complémentaires (16,32) prévus sur les faces supérieures et/ou inférieures des blocs de lest (5,6). Les moyens de centrage et de bridage (23,25) situés à l'extrémité inférieure de chaque tige (17) sont amovibles et verrouillables. L'ensemble est mis en place à partir du sol par un seul opérateur. <IMAGE>
