[origin: EP0735213A1] The shuttering is applied to a concrete connecting surface (8), which has reinforcing bars (12) which project over a supporting shuttering wall (9c). The bars are held in position against an edge (10) of the wall by an aid (1). The aid is made from shuttering material, and has openings along one side. The width of the openings corresponds to the width of the reinforcing bars, and the spacing between the openings corresponds to the required bar spacing. The aid may be placed over the bars in the manner of a comb, and may be used a sacrificial shuttering.
