The double pump unit has a housing (1) containing a pair of pump wheels, driven by respective electric motors (3a,3b), with a regulation circuit (4) independently controlling the revs of both motors. The regulation circuit is attached to one of the electric motors and provides regulation signals for respective regulation modules (5) fitted to each of the motors.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Doppelpumpe mit zwei in einem Gehäuse (1) angeordneten Laufrädern, die ein Fördermedium fördern, wobei jedes Laufrad von je einem Elektromotor (3a, 3b)angetrieben ist, und mittels einer übergeordneten Steuerung und/oder Regelung (4) die Drehzahlen der beiden Elektromotoren (3a, 3b) jeweils unabhängig voneinander beliebig zwischen dem Motorstillstand und der Nenndrehzahl einstell- oder regelbar sind, wobei die übergeordnete Steuerung und/oder Regelung (4) an einem der beiden Elektromotoren (3a, 3b) angeordnet ist. <IMAGE>
