Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0735616A2] The electrical plug in connector for circuit boards (5) is applied end-on to the board and has a number of parallel connection points. Inset into the body (2) of the rectangular section connector are a number of metal leaf spring elements (3) that apply a retaining force to the board and also engage wires (40) that have the insulation removed from the tips. The connector housings have formed lugs (42) that locate in register slots (43) in the circuit board.
