[origin: WO9517339A1] A device for opening a pourer (2) fitted to the upper wall (1) of a solvent package and projecting therefrom has a cap (13) covering said pourer (2) and removably secured thereto. To ensure that the opening device makes it possible to produce a package economically which can be opened logically, easily and without excessive force, the invention provides that the cap (13) can be rotated through at least some 90 DEG in relation to the pourer (2) and has an internal space (17) and at least one blade (23) projecting thereinto, which can be inserted into a partly circular surface region (5) to cut into it for opening purposes.
