[origin: EP0736333A2] The press dispenser has a manually operated transport lever (5) swivelling about an axis (S) and having at its end facing the entrainment (9) for the piston rod (13) a roller (10) with a rotary axis (D) parallel to the swivel axis. The distance (a) of the rotary axis from the swivel axis is adjustable by adjusting means (6) such as a lever or setting wheel (7) provided on the handle (2). The adjusting means interact with the swivel axis of the lever which has an eccentric so that by moving the eccentric the said distance is adjusted. The adjusting means can interact with a push rod inside the handle and connected to the rotary axis of the roller so that an adjustment in the height of the rod changes the said distance.
