[origin: EP0736478A2] The mounting (14) has fixtures (16,18) and an adjustment (20) for adjusting the handrail disc (12) at least in its angular position on an axle (62) before being fixed. The axle extends parallel to the lengthwise direction of the escalator or travellator. The adjustment has at least one concave and at least one convex bearing surface (54,56) on profiled sections (22,24) with the same radius. The convex bearing surface (56) is positioned on a profiled insert (44) of the adjustment, and the concave bearing surface (54) is formed on a profiled part or support of the mounting.
