Abstract (en)

For the feed of a spread and drawn sliver to a calender disc assembly, to be restored into a compressed sliver for use in a textile machine, an air stream without air loss is passed through ≥ 2 jet sections (60) at the sliver guide. Alternatively two channel segments (65a, 65b) are near the disc clamping gap between the calender discs (100a, 100b), to give an automatic feed of the leading end of the sliver into the clamping gap without any mechanical feeds. Also claimed is a sliver feed jet with a channel (65a, 65b) open on two sides at the outlet end of the jet, for each to take a segment from each calender disc (100a, 100b). The half beaks (61a, 61b) formed by the two-sided opening are shaped with a length and width (b) to flank the discs (100a, 100b) to bring the sliver into contact with the disc gap (100c).

Abstract (de)

Vorgeschlagen wird ein Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zum Einführen zumindest eines Faserband-Teiles in die Klemmlinie (100c) von (weiter) verdichtenden Kalanderwalzen (100a,100b) einer Faserband verarbeitenden Maschine, wobei ein Luftstrom im wesentlichen verlustfrei durch zwei Kanalsegmente (65a,65b) im Bereich des Klemmspaltes (100c) des Kalanderscheibenpaares (100a,100b) geleitet wird, um anfänglich einen Teil (F1) des Faserbandes (F) in eine Düsen-Führungseinrichtung (50,40,60,30) ohne mechanische Einführungshilfen einzuführen. Damit wird das Anarbeiten weitgehend automatisiert. <IMAGE>
