[origin: EP0736641A1] The invention relates to a roof and/or wall covering construction which is provided with panels (1) which are made of an insulating material (2), which is covered on opposite surfaces of the panels with a vapour impermeable material (3). Adjacent panels (1) are on adjacent boundary edges provided with grooves (5) and with noses (4) respectively, which project into said grooves (5). The construction is on the outer side provided with lining plates placed on the panels. Vapour impermeable sealing strips (7) are provided on either side of the noses (4) between adjacent panels (1), whilst strips (9) of a water and vapour impermeable material, which overlap joints between adjacent panels, are affixed to the panels (1) on the sides facing the lining plates. <IMAGE>
