Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0736642A1] The blind or shading device includes a drive device (6) which is coupled to the winding shaft (2). It can be set in rotation to rotate the winding shaft to wind up the blind sheet (8) or unwind it. A tractive device (14) with two anchored ends is at least sectionally elastically expandable. It engages on the blind sheet and has at least one end so anchored in a position that it imparts a tension to the blind sheet for unwinding it from the winding shaft. The tractive device can be elastically expandable over its complete length or can have elastically expandable and one non-expandable sections. The edge (11) standing away from the winding shaft is locally anchored and between it and the shaft is a draw bar (13) which is loosely connected to the blind sheet, and on which the tractive device engages.
