Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0736652A2] Tumblers have pins (8) mounted in radial holes (11,12,13) in the rotor (9) and cylinder housing. A majority of the holes, near the shear line (5), have different widths making it difficult to align the housing pins (3) during an unauthorised forced entry. The wider parts (14,15,16) have a dia. 0.2 to 0.8 mm larger than the dia. of the housing pins. The wider parts extend radially over a depth of 0.2 to 1, pref. 0.6 to 0.8 mm.
