Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0736680A1] The correction system provides automatic correction of at least one physical parameter during the operation of the i.c. engine, by simulating the parameter using a function in terms of the parameter gradient (X). The error between the simulated parameter value calculated using this function and the actual measured parameter value is determined at the same time as the calculation of the simulated parameter and used for correction of the parameter gradient, for improving the simulation accuracy for the next simulation calculation.
