The connecting device includes a tubular connecting flange (15) on the exhaust gas return system (10). The induction device (11) has a receiver (24) with tubular aperture (25) for the connecting flange. The flange and the receiver have at least one bayonet lock (27,30). The bayonet lock holds the connecting flange in the receiver. The external surface of the flange may have at least two gudgeons (17). The internal wall of the receiver for each gudgeon has a slideway (30) for the axial and radial insertion of the pins.

Es wird eine Vorrichtung zum Verbinden eines Abgasrückführsystems (10) mit einer Sauganlage (11) eines Verbrennungsmotors vorgeschlagen. Das Abgasrückführsystem (10) besitzt einen rohrförmigen Verbindungsflansch (15). Die Sauganlage (11) ist mit einer eine rohrförmigen Öffnung (25) aufweisenden Aufnahme (24) für den Verbindungsflansch (15) ausgeführt. Der Verbindungsflansch (15) und die Aufnahme (24) weisen mindestens eine Bajonettverbindung (27, 30) auf, welche den Verbindungsflansch (15) in der Aufnahme (24) kraft und/oder formschlüssig hält. <IMAGE>
