[origin: EP0736683A2] The connecting device includes a tubular connecting flange (15) on the exhaust gas return system (10). The induction device (11) has a receiver (24) with tubular aperture (25) for the connecting flange. The flange and the receiver have at least one bayonet lock (27,30). The bayonet lock holds the connecting flange in the receiver. The external surface of the flange may have at least two gudgeons (17). The internal wall of the receiver for each gudgeon has a slideway (30) for the axial and radial insertion of the pins.
