Abstract (en)
A recording material which comprises a support having provided thereon at least a recording layer comprising (a) a heat-responsive microcapsule having encapsulated therein an organic silver salt, (b) a developer for the organic silver salt and (c) a water-soluble binder. A process for producing the recording material is further disclosed. The recording material of the present invention can be prepared without adversely affecting the working environment, has a remarkably prolonged shelf life, and is capable of recording a high density image thereon.
