Abstract (en)
The contact device has a stationary contact carrier (1,2) and a relatively movable contact carrier (7), supporting opposing contacts (3,4). One of the contact carriers has a pair of contact arms (1,2) lying in a common plane, the other contact carrier supporting a bridge contact (8) for bridging the individual contacts (3,4) attached to the ends of each of the contact arms. A pair of diverter plates (11,12) are mounted on the outside of the bridge contact carrier, for diverting the switching arcs away from the contacts. Pref. the diverter plates are formed integral with the sheet metal contact carrier.

Die elektrische Kontaktanordnung für ein Schaltgerät umfaßt eine feststehende Kontaktträgeranordnung und eine bewegliche Kontaktträgeranordnung, die einander gegenüberstehende Kontakte (3,4) tragen. Eine der beiden Kontaktträgeranordnungen besteht aus zwei in einer Ebene liegenden Kontaktarmen (1,2), die mit Anschlüssen versehen sind, während die andere Kontaktträgeranordnung einen Brückenkontakt (8) trägt, der in der Schließstellung die beiden Einzelkontakte (3,4) überbrückt. Außerdem sind an den Außenseiten des Brückenkontaktträgers (7) zwei Ableitbleche vorgesehen, die in Richtung auf die Kontaktarme vorstehen. Durch die entgegengesetzten Stromrichtungen in beiden Kontaktpfaden entstehen einander abstoßende Magnetfelder, durch die beim Abschalten erzeugte Lichtbögen nach außen auf die Ableitbleche gelenkt und dann gelöscht werden. <IMAGE>
