Abstract (en)

The system includes information detectors placed at specific positions along a travel path and connected to a transmitter-receiver. The detectors transmit information in a predetermined time frame to a central receiver for preparation and broadcasting. The transceivers transmit data of the information detectors individually in a bucket chain cycle. Each message telegram relayed to the next station is expanded by the message segment belonging to the station which is relaying the message telegram. Operation of vehicle components, e.g. air bags, belt sensors, and indicators may lead to the sending of a telegram to the fixed transmitter-receiver. Alternatively, sensors in a vehicle, e.g. for speed, rpm, ignition on etc., may be collected to determine a driving state. The status signal is transmitted to the fixed transmitter-receiver and then passed on to a central station for evaluation together with information on other vehicles.

Abstract (de)

<IMAGE>
