Abstract (en)
The pistol has a pistol body (2) with a powder channel (18) passing through the body, a mechanism (12) for the replaceable attachment of a mouthpiece (14) to the downstream end of the body and its powder channel for ejecting the powder out of the channel as a dust spray and a high voltage generator (30) in the body with an electrode for charging the powder. A rotation dust formation mouthpiece (14) is fitted with a rotation body (48) for producing dust from the powder. The rotation body rotates in the mouthpiece and is mounted so as to be able to be driven. The coating powder is subjected to centrifugal force and hence formed into dust.
