[origin: EP0737639A2] The transfer unit, to carry sheets between two workstations, has continuous belts passing round shafts at each end. The guides are ring units (15) projecting from the circumference of a shaft (12) to allow an axial shift of the belts (13) along a shaft (12). The ring units, together with the shaft, form a piece that forms, cross-wise, a toroidal unit. The ring units, with their O-rings, are fitted or glued in to the circumferential groove (14) on the shaft.
