Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0737640A2] The insertion system allows an auxiliary sheet stacking platform (1) to be positioned over a main sheet stack (2) which is to be removed, without interrupting the continuous operation of the printing machine, by movement of the auxiliary sheet stacking platform in the sheet delivery direction, synchronous with the delivery of the sheet. A control device controls the movement of the operating drive for the auxiliary sheet stacking platform in dependence on detected printing machine data, for matching the movement profile of the delivered sheet.
