[origin: EP0737645A2] The cover fitting press comprises a frame (20) with two types of compression members (22,24) and pref. compression base (28) between which the cushion body in insertable. The compression member can assume two positions, i.e. one for inserting the cushion and another one for cushion compression in which the cover can be pulled over the cushion. There is an intermediate position exerting enough force, preventing inadvertent slipping of the cushion. In this position the compression force is only so strong that an inserted hand can be pulled out.
