Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0737767A1] The Jacquard knitwear, produced in three or four colours on a circular machine with gathered stitches, has rear face which is destructured in relation to a conventional finish by de-gauging two needles out of four and thus dividing the number of columns of stitches and their density by two. The knitwear surface finish can be produced by selecting one needle from four alternately, dividing by two the number of rows and, consequently, the density of the stitches on the rear face.
