Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0737803A1] The compensator (10,11) between two pipe sections (7,8,9) serves to compensate for the length alteration as the result of temp. change. Within the compensator is arranged a gas feed pipe (22) which is formed via extended connections (19) from at least one of the pipe sections. The connection forming the gas feed pipe is cylindrical, oval or conical. The connection is formed on a pipe section (7) and the compensator on the adjoining pipe section (8), whereby the free end of the compensator tightly encloses the other pipe section. The free end of the compensator is formed by a cylindrical connecting section, the internal dia. of which corresponds to the outer dia. of the adjoining pipe section.
