[origin: EP0738026A1] The contact spring (1) has a spring arm base (2) with a base wall and 2 side walls (7), from which respective spring arms (4) project at the front end of the contact spring. An integral terminal section (20) at the rear end of the contact spring is used for connection to an electrical conductor. The terminal section is formed by a double knife clamp, with a stop edge (18), orthogonal to the insertion direction of the contact spring, provided by the spring arm base and/or the terminal section, cooperating with the connector housing.
