[origin: EP0738506A1] The bed surface (18), by relative movement between the transport carriage (16) and the support column (10), is transferrable from the one to the other. On the bed surface at least two pin-shaped connecting components (24) are arranged, which can be inserted into complementary pin accommodations (26) on the support column and the transport carriage. On each connecting component at least two locking catches are pivotably located, and are adjustable between a locking position and a release position. During the transfer process the connecting components simultaneously engage in a column-side and a carriage-side pin accommodation (26,22). In each pin accommodation a securing recess is provided for receiving one of the locking catches in its locking position.
