Abstract (en)
The flame retardant is held inside a container (3) fitted with a detonator (6) activated by a release (23). A housing (12) open to the bottom holds the aerosol and directs the released spray in a controlled direction. Several units can be mounted in a cluster over sites to be protected. The released fire retardant is mixed with air to form the aerosol spray. A compressed spring (10) assists in expelling the material after the detonator has broken to retaining tie (7). The upper lip of the container has a seal which is pressed upwards into the open housing.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Feuerlöscheinrichtung, bei der in einem oder mehreren Behältern durch Verbrennung eines festen Löschmittels Aerosol erzeugt wird, daß indirekt über Ringkanäle oder direkt durch einen Siebboden in den zu schützenden Bereich eingeführt wird. <IMAGE>
