Abstract (en)
The slicing device includes a sickle-knife (1), which has a non-uniform rise of the spiral cutting edge (2), less in the end zone (5). It also has a weight-balancing region (3), bringing it closer to a circular shape. The effect of this region is that the centre of gravity of the knife is in its geometrical centre (4). The lower-rise end cone may extend over the last quarter of the length of the cutting edge, which encompasses about 200 degrees to 250 degrees , preferably 215 degrees to 230 degrees . The weight-balancing region of the disc may be bounded by a circular cutout outline (6).

Es wird eine Schneidvorrichtung mit einem Sichelmesser (1) beschrieben, das eine ungleichmäßige, insbesondere im Endbereich (5) geringere Steigung der spiralig verlaufenden Schneidkante (2) aufweist und einen, eine Annäherung an die Kreisform gewährleistenden Gewichtsausgleichs-Scheibenbereich (3) aufweist, der dazu führt, daß der Schwerpunkt des Sichelmessers (1) im Zentrum (4) liegt. <IMAGE>
