Abstract (en)

The procedure involves using a self-propelled carriage (1) travelling on rails (2). The carriage has a coupling trough (7) for a container. The carriage moves until it is positioned with the trough above a container. After the trough has been aligned with the matching section of the container, both pieces are connected by moving one w.r.t. the other. Trough and container are locked together and transferred to their new position before separating. The carriage can travel along vertical rails, extending or retracting the trough by using articulated levers (L1,L2). It can also turn in about a vertical pivot to engage with a container received or dispatched on a horizontal roller conveyor.

Le dispositif selon l'invention fait intervenir un chariot (1) mobile sur les rails (2) d'une voie et portant un profil d'assemblage (7) dans lequel peut venir s'engager un conteneur amovible. Ce profil (7) est mobile transversalement par rapport à la voie de manière à pouvoir passer d'une position rétractée contenue à l'intérieur du gabarit de la voie à une position déployée située en dehors de ce gabarit pour pouvoir effectuer le chargement d'un conteneur présent sur une aire de chargement ou le déchargement du conteneur qu'il supporte sur une aire de déchargement, ces deux aires étant en dehors dudit gabarit. L'invention permet d'éviter l'utilisation d'aiguillages par translation pour les stations de chargement/déchargement. <IMAGE>
