Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0738663A1] The closure cap has at least one thread groove (17) between two webs and defined in its width (B) by at least one elastic web (19,20). This width (B) is smaller than the thickness (b) of the thread bead (18) of the container neck (11). The superposed flank webs of adjoining thread grooves are arranged at a distance (a) from each other. One of the webs can be stiffer and less resistant than the other whereby the distance between the webs of adjoining grooves is such that the relatively more pliable web adjoins the stiffer web during deflection. The webs can be of different length and different cross-section.
