[origin: EP0738799A2] PROCEDURE FOR DYEING AND FINISHING OF GARMENTS MADE OF POLYPROPYLENE, characterized by the fact that it comprises four phases, the first being preparation of the garments 1, in which they are dipped in formaldehyde 2 dissolved in water; the second phase consisting of dyeing 5, where the garments are immersed in water 6 with a dissolved Cryogen or sulphurus type colouring agent 7, immediately adding a reducing agent 8, such as sodium hydrosulphite, after which an electrolyte 9 is added, consisting of Sodium Chloride; the third phase consisting of oxidation 11, during which the garments are dipped in a solution of water 18 with a dissolved acid and oxidant agent 12; the final phase is the finishing 15, when the garments are immersed in a water bath 16, in which a softening agent 17 has been dissolved, consisting of a liquid polyamide of animal origin.
