[origin: EP0738868A2] The device is built up on a frame (1) cantilevered on a two-wheeled truck (10) and coupled (2) to the nose of the vehicle (KP). Rectangular electromagnetic search coils (3.1-3.4) for detection of electrically conductive objects in its path are arranged on two beams (1.1,1.2) across the front of the frame. A slider (5) runs between two transverse guide rails (4) behind the coils, with an underslung arm rotatable in the horizontal plane and carrying a detector (6). Mines thereby located are detonated by charges taken from a magazine (9) and placed on the ground by a movable gripper (8).
