[origin: WO9509961A1] A device is disclosed for continuously adjusting the speed of rotation of devices driven by electric motors in shadowing devices such as awnings, roller shutters, blinds or the like. The arrangement (7) that for example linearly moves or rotates the shadowing device co-operates with an analogue distance sensor (20), for example a potentiometric, inductive or similar distance sensor. The working end positions of the shadowing device may be determined by an adjustment member (14).
