Abstract (en)
The alloy is hardened by heat treatment and contains one or more of the elements Ti and Nb, the normal deoxidation additives and the normal smelting impurities. A saturation inductance of above 1 Tesla simultaneous with a Vickers hardness of above 150 HV is obtained by using between 40 and 55 % by weight of Ni, between 0.5 and 6 % by weight of Ti and between 0 and 5 % by weight of Nb, with the combined contact of Ti and Nb being above 2%.
