[origin: DE4401201A1] In an arrangement for retaining a curved support, for example a printing plate (9), the ends (7; 8) of the plates should be retained by simple means and should not be damaged. For that purpose, a clamping means is arranged in an axial bore and exerts at least one compression force (P) on the superimposed ends of the printing plate. The ends are arranged in a slit (4) that extends from the circumference of the form cylinder tangentially to the axial bore. A hose (14) capable of receiving compressed air is used as clamping means.
