[origin: EP0740953A1] This mixer-grinder processes solids or paste masses and has a vessel with a pinned disc mill and external drive. The stator encircles the rotor with clearance, being composed of adjacent rods, which are concentric and parallel to the rotor axis. The rotor has a radial axis-parallel sections forming a grinding gap at the free ends. In this original arrangement, on at least one side and close to the rotor (14-16) is a rotating flight wheel (12, 13; 17, 18). The flights extend radially, and are slanted in order to pump or propel the mass axially onto the rotor.
