[origin: EP0740963A2] Installation for cleaning exhaust air, esp. that from wood drying plants, consists of at least one electrostatic filter divided into two units (6, 7) stacked vertically and sepd. by a water sump which collects water used to clean the upper filter (7). Filter (6) is also cleaned by water sprays and dirty water from here, as well as from the sump, is withdrawn for cleaning and eventual recirculation.
