Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0740979A1] The lens holder consists of a base (16) to which the lens can be attached for machining by a pad (17). The pad is made from a low-melting point metal, and a superstructure (18) designed to receive a drive tool. The base is recessed peripherally in relation to the superstructure. The base is made in two truncated conical sections, joined by their smaller ends, with at least one notch (29) in it. The upper surface (21) of the lens holder's superstructure has a circular recess (23) and a notch (33) for angular positioning.
