[origin: EP0741024A2] The movable rollers (5) are mounted at opposite ends of a support lever that has a fixed position contact roller at the pivot point and is in permanent contact with both of them The lever can be moved a small distance either clockwise or counterclockwise to engage friction rollers that couple through to the print cylinder (1) of the machine. The movement is obtained using an axially displaced rod (9) that has several tapered sections that are engaged by small roller followers (8) mounted on brackets on arms projecting from the main support. When the rod is moved the followers ride along the tapered sections and the unit pivots.
