[origin: EP0741378A1] The invention relates to a device for displaying illustrations, texts or the like provided with a frame and with a plurality of display means which are rotatable about parallel axes of rotation, said display means comprising a few surfaces extending at least substantially parallel to said axes of rotation and including an angle with each other, which surfaces are provided with parts of the illustrations, texts or the like to be formed. Wheel-shaped driving means for rotating the display means are disposed near ends of the display means. The wheel-shaped means co-operate with pins secured to the ends of said display means, which extend parallel to the axis of rotation of the respective display means and which are disposed in regularly spaced-apart relationship on a circle extending concentrically about the axis of rotation of the display means. The wheel-shaped means is provided with a projecting nose, on either side of which passages for the pins are formed in the wheel-shaped means, all this in such a manner that when the wheel-shaped means is rotated, a pin is engaged by the nose so as to effect a rotation of the respective display means. <IMAGE>
