Abstract (en)
The module has at least two contact surfaces (25,26) for an electric connection. At least one of the contact surfaces (25,26) of the module (22) is finely ground. Contact is made directly at the ground cold conducting material without the intermediate connection of contact layers. In use, an operating voltage of preferably greater than 110 V is dropped across the component (22). The component (22) may be used as a heating resistance e.g. in an aquarium heater or in a bimetallic temperature switch mechanism (10). A temp. monitor with a bimetallic switch which switches on excess temp. includes such a clod conductive resistor with an automatic hold function. The resistor may form the cover of a housing for the switch mechanism. It may be connected in parallel with the bimetallic switch.

Ein Temperaturwächter (10) mit einem bei Übertemperatur schaltenden Bimetall-Schaltwerk (15) umfaßt einen damit verschalteten Kaltleiterwiderstand (24), der im Sinne einer Selbsthaltefunktion wirkt. Der Kaltleiterwiderstand (24) ist ein Baustein (22) aus Kaltleitermaterial und weist Zwei Kontaktflächen (25, 26) für einen elektrischen Anschluß auf. Zumindest eine der Kontaktflächen (25, 26) des Bausteines (22) ist geschliffen, wobei die Kontaktierung ohne Zwischenschaltung von Kontaktierungsschichten unmittelbar an dem geschliffenen Kaltleitermaterial erfolgt. <IMAGE>
