[origin: DE4442410A1] In order to set up a simple and inexpensive radiotelephone system (PRS) for a limited group of users, the invention proposes equipment (MONE) which connects at least one commercially available non-mobile radiotelephone station (BTS1, BTS2) with a telecommunications network (PSTN) via standard interfaces (PCM30, Abis). The equipment includes a subscriber database (ID) and means (MM) for checking whether a transmitted subscriber-identification signal (IMSI) authorizes the subscriber to access the system (PRS). In addition, the equipment controls the putting through and termination of calls (CC) as well as the non-mobile radio station control unit (RR). A radiotelephone (MS) authorized to access the system (PRS) is reliably connected to the nearest non-mobile radiotelephone station (BTS1) at least for the duration of the call.
