Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0741984A2] The guide comprises a guide rail fixed to the main body and a travelling one sliding along it. A slide (6) movable for a limited distance along the travelling rail (3) can be joined to the extending component (10) or form part of it. There can be a locking member on the travelling rail and fixing the slide in position on it. This releases the slide only when the component is fully extended. When the slide is fully extended in relation to the travelling rail, the member locks the latter to the guide rail (2). The member can be formed by a leaf spring, fixed at one end to the travelling rail.
